Excelerate Software, Inc. helps Madera Unified School District greatly cut PC energy consumption with no out-of-pocket expense |
San Juan Capistrano, CA (August 17, 2009) – Excelerate Software, Inc., a provider of PC power management software, today announced that Madera Unified School District has deployed Excelerate Software’s PowerPro Manager™ on 4,000 of its networked PCs.
Excelerate Software, Inc., a software developer, is offering organizations a computer power management software program designed to significantly reduce energy expenditure and reduce their carbon footprint.
“Initially, Madera USD wasn’t aware that their utility company, Pacific Gas & Electric, offered rebates to school districts and companies who installed this power-saving software,” said Mr. Mendoza. Madera Unified took advantage of this rebate offer and therefore, had no out-of-pocket expense for this software.
